What I have recently learned is how to write a better essay. I kind of new how to write an essay, but now I think I can write some better ones. Not very well but good. That I owe it to my English Professor Mrs.Copper. And now that I know how to write an outline I think it is easier for me to write the essay.

About the Willete, that's what I read about today in the wiki encyclopedia page. The Wilet is the largest of the shanks. Its closest relative is the Lesser Yellowlegs. The adult Wilet has long grey legs and a long, straight, dark and stout beek. Their body is grey and white in the underneath. In the picture of the wikid page they look pretty. YOu should go in and watch them also.

Now the worst thing that has ever happend to me is??? Well I haven't even though about it that much. I like my life so far. If I had the chance of living it again maybe I would choose to have the same family, the same friends, and the same marrige.
Eventhough there are some things I would change that don't make them some worst things that have happend to me.

Something good that happened to me this week is.... well actually it hasn't happened yet. Hopefully it will happen tomorrow. It is my GED graduation day. I recieved my GED last year in September, but the graduation is tomorrow the 2nd of May. I'm very excited about it. It will take place in the Orpheum Theater that is located Down Town Phoenix. I have to be there by 5:30 P.M. The people I invited will need to be there at 7:00. We get to take pictures and we also get to keep the cap. The gown we have to give back. So yea tomorrow will be something good happening this week.

In the Arizona Central I'm still reading about the march that is going on today with the immigrants. Now I read about this lady, Miranda, who is marching for her second year. She already has her citizenship, her parents crossed the border illegally years ago and now that she has her citizenship she is still helping out by going to the march. She said she would see how her father would work hard to bring some food to the house. How he worked hard when being an illegall. That's why now she's helping other illegall people by attending to the march also.

Since today I can write about anything I want I am going to write about my mother. By the way it is almost mothers day. Isint that nice. Well today my mother went to immigration to take her exam to get her citizenship. She has been here for over 28 years and she is bearly going to take her exam. She is a very nervouse lady and she felt she wasn't going to pass the questions, eventhough she has been studying. Well hopefully she will pass the test and I am going to be very proud of her.

Let's see what is more important to me; being popular, accomplishing things or being organized. I think the last two are more important. First being organized, because that way I can accomplish more better the things I want to do in my life. Being popular is not important to me.

Journal # 33 Az Central

In the Arizona Central, today I read about the march that is going for the 1st of May. The immigrant are marching for a legislation for a path to citizenship. This is the second year the march occures. It is suppossed to begin at 9:00 A.M. It was already 8:30 and there were about 1,000 people at the State Fairgrounds. That's where the march begins. A lot of people don't even go to work so they can go to the march. People wear white T-shirts to show unity, other take American flags to wave while walking. Most of the people are men, but there are also women and little kids.

In the Wiki journal I read about the American Revolution the battle between the Thirteen Colonies and the Brithish on 1775. The Thirteen Colonies declared their independence in 1776 and became the United States of America.The United States Declaration of Independence was an act of the Second Continental Congress, adopted on July 4, 1776, which declared that the Thirteen Colonies were independent of the Kingdom of Great Britain. Now we celebrate the 4th of july an the Independence Day.

In the Arizona Central I read abut the tragic that occurred last night. Two young toddlers died drowned in a swimming pool. One was a little girl of 18 months (1 year and 6mo.),the other was a little boy of 3 years. Their aunt and uncle were supposely taking care of them, but they were watching television and said that they lost track of the time. I cann't even imagine how the parents of the toddlers could feel. I have a 4 year old boy and I would go crazy if something like that happened to him. When me and my husband where looking for a house to buy, he strickly said no to buying a house with a swimming pool. He said that was only danger to our son. I'm very glad our house doesn't have a swimming pool.

In some ways I would like to be famouse and in others I wouldn't. I think it has it's advantages and disadvantages. I would like to be famouse because I would get to know many places. Travel arround. Know other famouse people. And best of all a lot of people would recognize or know who I am. The bad thing is that I think famouse people have a very stressful life. They have to be working all the time that some of them don't have the time to be with their families. I guess sometimes they have to travel alone without their families. They always have to be careful with some one wanting to robbthem for their money. These are my opinions on why I would or wouldn't like to be famouse.

Since today I can write about anything I want I'm going to write about me. I was born in Phoeniz Arizona on 1982. Today I am 24 years old. I have a 4 year old son and a wonderful husband. We lived most of the time near down town Phoenix, but also part of my life I grew up in Chihuahua Mexico. That's where my mother and father are from. They are actually from al little village called Casa de Janos. On school vacations I would go to the village and stay with my grandparents until school started again. Now we go once in awhile to vistit them still. One of the reasons is that my husbands parents also live in the same village. I'm really happy in my marrige. If I had the chance to decide to be married or single I would definitely I say "maried". And married with the same man.

Also in the Arizona Central I read about the massacre that occured in Blacksburg, Virginia. The boy was 23 years old and he killed 31 people including himself. The police still don't know the reasons why he did these things but they think he was a loner.

Today in the wikid page I read about the massacre that occured in Blacksburg, Virginia. There were 33 people dead including the gunman. The gunman was a South Korean boy. He lived in Virginia and studied at the University. It all started arround 7:00 in the morning. The police doesn't know for shure the reasons but they think it was because he had problems with his girlfriend. But even if they find out the reason why he killed all those people the people are not going to come alive again.

The best thing about this class so far is that I have the oportunity to use a computer. I really like using computers. Now my typing has gotten even better. I don't have to see the keyboard everytime I'm going to type a letter. Hopefully by the end of the semester I can type even faster. I kind of new how to use a computer, but I really didn't know how to go into the internet or any other web. I'm very glad I'm doing good in this class...

Journal # 24 on Arizona Central

In the Arizona Central Page today I read about the Grand Canyon Skywalk. I read that there were some people that paid up to $75.00 on the first day the Skywalk was opened. In my opinion I think that is too much money. One lady commented that she felt as if she was flying. Others just couldn't explain the emotion they felt. Hopefully someday I will go on the Skywalk also. I hope by then, it is cheaper to go on it.

Well today I can write about anything I want which their isn't much to write about. Or actually I can talk about my weekend. This weekend I went to Roswell New Mexico. I went with my husband and my son. We passed by Globe Arizona, thrugh Deming New Mexico, Las Cruzes, Lomogordo, and other little villages until we got to Roswell. That was friday. On saturday we went to Lovington. My sister in law's usband is in jail in Lovington, so my husband went to see him. It is really nice over their; also, the elevation is over 6000 ft. over sea. They really are up their. We only have about 2000 and something ft. However it was a really nice little vacation thats because we came back on sunday.

Well one of the hardest things about this class so far are the quiz's. I don't know why but I'm still getting low grades in my quiz's. For the rest of the things I think I'm doing pretty well. I try my best to do the Assignments and write in my journal. I'm also doing my best in the essays. I guess I don't really don't study hard for the quiz's.

In the Arizona Central Page today I read about a man who was found stucked in a grocery ductwork. This morning at a Food City supermarket the police recieved a called that a man was stucked in the air-conditioning ducktwork. The police thought it was a burglury that had gone bad. In the morning when the workers went to the store located on 59th ave and Bethanyhome they saw debris on the floor and some gloves; when they looked up they saw the men stucked up their. The police thought the man was severly injured because he wasn't moving but he really wasn't that injured. The police said they would question him once he was treaded for his injuries.

today I read about the bird named Richard's Pipit. This bird has long legs and tail and a long dark bill. It is about 17 to 20 cm long. It is mainly brown above and pale below. Most of the time it stand sraight and it has a strong and direct flight. Richard's Pipit was named after the French naturalist Monsieur Richard of Luneville.

In the Wiki Journal today I read about Gordian II. He was a Roman Emperor in the year 238. he had a sister named Antonia Gordiana who was the mother of Gordian the III. He had his own coin that celebrated his military powers. Gordian II was the head of an army that where untrained. They fought but lost the Battle of Carthage. Gordian I then killed himself. By the end of 238 Gordian II'ds nephew Gordian III was named the Roman Emperor.

Today I can write about anything I want, but there isn't much of what I can write about. Well maybe I can write about the movie Crash we are watching in the classroom. I think it's a cool movie because of what I've seen so far I can tell it talks a lot about discrimination. Discrimination on all people such as Hispanics, Anglos, African American, and even people from India or some part of Iraq. The point is that we are all racist in one time or another. Even with the same race as ours. That is something we all should change in our lives.

Today I read in the Arizona Central that the Memorial Hospital is having some changes.That hospital is located on 1201 s. seventh ave in phoenix and was built in 1935, when african american people could not live north of the Salt River. Now the hospital only has about 45 to 50 patients a day when they are licensed to attend 200 beds or more. I have been to that hospital and I think the doctors attend their patients well. Hopefully they will use the building for something els that is better.

In this course so far it's going kind of well. I say kind of because on my quiz's I still need some help. I have catched up with my other assignments but for some reason I can't get a better grade in my quiz's. In the begining of the course I was struggling with the computer; I couldn't get into the programs because I would forget my password or I would put in the wrong password. Now I can gt in the programs faster. So far I'm doing good, but hopefully I will do better by the end of the semester.

Today I read about the Pissa Patron companie not changing the way of them recieving mexican money (pesos) for pizza. Pizza Patron had been threaten in January; their is several people who don't like the idea of the Pizza owner reciving mexican money.In my opinion I think they can recieve any kind of money they want. It is their restaurant and they can recieve china, canadian or any kind of money they want. Besides, Pizza Patron is getting good money out of the mexican pesos.

A plan I came up with recently was to make my own calendar;It is working well.I made my own calender to keep more track of the food I'm going to make for the month, the bills I'm going to pay each week, the days I have classes, appontments with the doctor and other little things. It really has worked; I have friends who see the calendar and say they are going to make one for their own. Now I feel more organized and I don't have to try to remember each time what I have to do for the day or week I just take a look at my calendar.

I don't have a very specific commercial, the reason is that I watch the television without thinking of a commercial I would like. I watch the television mostly in spanish. What I see more are the novels. I love watching them, specially a new one that just started, it is called El Zorro. When the commercials appear I have the chance to do something els like go to the restroom or take a drink of water. Basically I don't pay much attention to the commercials well unlesss it from the uppcoming news.

This morning I went into the Az Central Website;I read about the dead body that was found by the highway. The police believe the body is from a 19 year old girl named Jackie Hartman who has been missing since January. His dad say's he feels very sad and is still waiting for the Medical Examiners to find out if it is his daughter or not. Jackie was missing since January 28 after having a date with Jonathan. He was arraigned on charges for kidnapping, sexual asault, first degree murder and with the disappearance of Jackie.He said he was not guilty on this arraignment. I personally think it is very sad to find out about this things. People can't be safe anywhere or with anyone. Who knows why she went to the date. Maybe the body is not hers and she will still be missing. I guess we all need to wait and see what the exam says.

JOURNAL # 11

Till this moment of my life which I am 24 years old the most spectacular place I have ever seen is the sea. In the month of November my husband son and I went to see the sea. It was beutifull. My husbands cousins live in California;they where the one who took us to the San Pedro Bay. We rented one of those boats that take you around to look at the places and it was really fun. My son was so happy to be there also. I though he was going to be scared. We had lots of fun;it is something I will never forget.

In the Wiki encyclopedia page I read about the storm that hit the eastern north part of the United States. It was about two or three days ago now in the montht of February 2007. It was a storm of snow that led to 16 deaths across seven states in the United States and one canadian. Some places where the snow fell over are the state of Ohio, Boston and New York. The storm is still active and the damages are still unknown.

I went into the AZ Central Website and I read about the 3 brothers who join the Marines. I think it is a sad story. They are very brave to have joined all three. That was their desicion and their parents had to approve it. Eventhough Joan and Jhon Haldiman are very sad,which parents wouldn't. I can't imagine my son going to war. When Joan is telling her war-wory it made me feel even sadder. When she says that her son called her saying he wanted to get out of Iraq made me think of how hard it must be for all of the men who are in marines or in war. Telling her son to give away four of the bibles and to keep one was very nice of her. Then she told him to read a part of the bible;it made me think that she has faith.

This course is going great.In the begining I thought I wasn't going to make it. It's been a while since I left school, I thought I wasn't going to remember some things. Actually I did forget many things, but coming to class refreshed my memories. Now I'm even getting better in the computer. That is something very good for me;in the beggining I didn't even know how to type. Their is nothing that I dislike about the class. Mrs.Cooper does give us plenty of assignments, but that is only helping us to be better students. I'm very pleased to be in this class.

Something I noticed about myself today is that I am getting better with the computer. Also today we saw our grades and I didn't think I was going to do so well. Knowing my grade makes me very proud.Today I will be having a great big smile on my face.

Today in the Az central website I read about the Latinas pergnacy.The Latinas race are the girls who are getting more pregnant than any other. That's something I learned. I new their where Hispanic people who got pregnant alot, but I didn't know they where the ones who most got pergnant on all ohter races.On the other races the girls are lowering the pregnacy rate .

In todays article in the wiki encyclopedia page I read about tanks. Tanks where first used in the world war 1. The very first tank that was made was Little Willie in the year 1915. Mark 1 was the first tank to enter in service on september of 1916. Brithish are the people who invent more tanks. They where made of heavy ardmour good for climbing just about anything and had weapons of course. Then after time keept on passing they have been inventing more new tanks. Then their's the one they used for the world war 2. It is very interesting to learn about tanks. Now I have a better aspect of how tanks where made and how they where used for.

If I would like to ba a famous person, thats a good question. Who wouldn't like to be famous. O f course I would like to be famous. Everybody knows them, they get to go to alot of places. If I was to choose a famous charachter it would be a movie star.I would love to act. I think it is a really fun thing the acters do. Specially the acctions and comedy ones. Then there is the money part. Well i really don't know if they get good money, but I assume they do. these are some reasons why I would like to be famous.

Their was one time when I lived in Mexico that a cousin of mine dared me to go in the camentary at night. The cementary is not a nice place to be arround and it's worse at night. Specially at the village where I used to live. It is the most creepyest place a little girl could go. I told my cousin I was brave that's when she dared me to go in the cementary. Of course I was scared to go in, but I didn't show it to her.She had to go whith me otherwise how would she know if I had been at the cementary. So I just took a deep breath and walked arround. I found out that there was nothing to be affraid of.

Well here we are again. Today I'm going to talk a little more about my communication skills. I'm really kind of the person that is shy at the begining.When I start to know the people I Get to speek up more. Then thats when I start talking. I lke to communicate with people, talk about things that happen in their lives.What they do for a living and things like that.
Other skills and talents I have is that I like to dance(spanish music). Music is something that motivattes me. Eventhough now that I am married don't go out to dance at home sometimes I practice by my self.
I also like to cook. I'm not an expert but I can do three or four good meals. My mother and mother in law showed me some meals.

My strongest communication skills are trying my hardest and not giving up. I really try my hardest in learning how to use this computer.I will not give up and by the end of the semester I'm pretty shure I will know how to get to the subjects faster.
Another talent I have is that I remember what I learn. I try to do the things more often so that I will not forget.

Today I finally kida learned how to get into my blogger. I don't use much a computer so it is kinda difficult for me to get started, but I am trying my hardest.
